New Jersey Estate
This substantial house was enlarged to accommodate the needs of a growing multigenerational family. The new rooms are equal in stature and architectural strength to the existing structure and create a more contemporary character. The dramatic architecture was highlighted with extensive use of heavy mahogany beams and millwork, complex ceiling planes and sophisticated lighting. Venetian plaster, copper cladding, aniline-dyed wood, natural slate, hand-pegged walnut and textiles of natural wool, linen and silk all create a seamless blend of great sophistication.
