John Lautner's 1957 biomorphic masterpiece sits high in the hills overlooking the Silverlake Reservoir in Los Angeles. This sprawling innovative home was the first of many technologically advanced design elements including the first infinity edge pool, automatic and retractable walls and ceilings, home automation, and passive heating, all driven by the inventor Kenneth Reiner. This historic home was sensitively restored and updated in collaboration with Bestor Architects for the CEO of BEATS, Luke Wood, and his young family.
