From private collections to boardrooms, office buildings all the way to to yachts, it is Isabella Garrucho’s pride and privilege to find the finest, most iconic works of art, no matter how challenging and rare they may be.
It was during the bullish art market of the 1980s when, as the President and Founder, Isabella Garrucho created Art Service International. The company was founded to meet the demands of an investment-driven corporate art market. As an experienced and discreet art advisor, Art Service International quickly became recognized as a premier art consultant firm in Connecticut, New York, and abroad.
Isabella’s reputation for expertise and integrity led to amassing major art collections for private collectors and Fortune 500 companies.
The formation of Iconica Fine Art by Isabella Garrucho represents her endless spirit to innovate in the art market by focusing on unique, special pieces of art and art of some of the most well seasoned, undiscovered emerging artists.
Isabella and her highly trained staff have worked with the world’s most distinguished international collectors, building a reputation as an authority on emerging artists, blue-chip artists, and art as investment. Iconica will also continue to expand on its expertise in organizing and connecting with diversified and organized numerous culture art exchange programs with Asian countries.
Garrucho was born in Cadiz, Spain, and studied art history at PUC, a Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese. Her international travels and abroad living experience has enhanced her knowledge of the protocol of various countries and her exceptional people skills make her an effective negotiator and consummate art consultant.
After 40 plus years of assembling major art collections in the private and corporate sectors, Isabella then opened her first gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut to span her service worldwide.
With Iconica Fine Art by Isabella Garrucho, after 5 years as a gallerista, Garrucho is taking her vision and focus further, caring and continuing to nourish her existing and new collectors with the most iconic, unique, and relevant art pieces to endure time.
